KumaType provides a free, browser-based typing speed test for personal, non-commercial practice. You may not use automated scripts, bots, or scraping tools against the site, and you may not attempt to disrupt or overload the service.

No account, no warranty

KumaType requires no registration and stores results only in your browser. The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy of WPM calculations, uptime, or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KumaType and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.

Intellectual property

The KumaType name, the Kuma bear logo, and site design are the property of their respective owners and may not be reproduced without permission. Word lists used for typing practice are drawn from common vocabulary in each supported language.
